NYU Silver
Lecture Hall
New York, NY
8,900 SF
2011

This lecture hall represents NYU’s continuing effort to upgrade its existing infrastructure around the Washington Square campus. The space functions primarily as a large format learning environment for up to 97 students, but also serves as a public assembly space for academic groups. MAD’s design used subtle color tones accentuated by a floating ceiling which functions acoustically and incorporates lighting and classrooms technologies.
