IDA honorary juries examined over 1000 entries submitted by architects and designers of interiors, fashion, products, and graphics from 52 countries throughout the world. After final decisions had been made, the jury rewarded the best professional and emerging designers for their achievements in terms of design, creativity, usability and innovation. Judging was a rigorous process, with winners receiving publication of their work in the International Design Awards Book of Designs. The coveted IDA Trophy will be awarded to all Designer of the Year title winners at the official biennial International Design Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles.

MAD was appointed as lead agency to develop a new branding image for Vicenzaoro Dubai, organized by DV Global Link, a joint-venture between Italian trade fair company Fiera di Vicenza and the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The first-ever Vicenzaoro Dubai (VOD) will take place from April 23-26, 2015. Defined by a gold and black palette, the VOD brand identity is marked by a symbiotic duality. A universal marker of luxury, the gold evokes feelings of lavishness and opulence, while, at the same time, making reference to raw materials used for fabricating jewelry.
A handful of designers, thinkers and entrepreneurs created the International Design Awards in 2007 as a response to the lack of recognition and celebration for smart and sustainable multidisciplinary design. The International Design Awards (IDA) exists to recognize, celebrate and promote legendary design visionaries and to uncover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design. IDA aspires to draw attention to the iconoclasm of design world wide, conceptualizing and producing great work.
Vicenzaoro Dubai also awarded with Honorable Mention in the Collateral Material Competition

MAD was appointed as lead agency to develop a new branding image for Vicenzaoro, the premiere international jewelry organization based in Vicenza, Italy. MAD created a new logotype and branding system that along with a completely redesigned concept for the show layout signifies a radical change for the event, highlighting the tagline “The Future. Now”. Preparing for a new era and excellence in the Jewelry world, the advertising campaigns, in collaboration with Italian illustrator, Alvvino, utilize a series of collages with a mix of jewelry, textures, fabrics and the human form to create a strong visual identity for the two main 2015 events in January and September.
