Gallatin School Of Individualized Study

Located at 1 Washington Place, MAD was tasked with the gut-renovation of the 7th floor, expanding the Gallatin School’s portfolio of classrooms and faculty offices. The design also provides multiple student lounges and quiet spaces. Exposed structural masonry walls contrast the Peter Halley mural installation that is primarily present at the central circulation areas. Use of cement board wall surfacing and suspended celling panels define the various areas of the floor plate.
